| Beaches Golden Beach , where the Surf Worldcup takes place, is a paradise for windsurfers. Due to a natural wind corridor between Paros and Naxos, windsurfers can find ideal wind conditions here. The beach is quite long and narrow with reed and dunes in the background and the water is as clear as a swimming pool. Golden Beach is about 8 km from Naoussa and takes approx. 10 min by public bus. In Pounta Beach there is a large beach bar with a generous swimming-pool area and bar with live-music. From early afternoon young people from all parts of the island meet here in anticipation of the evening’s festivities. Pounta Beach is about 7 km from Naoussa and approx. 15 min by public bus. |
